Apply & participate in the food program with our expert support.
Start by sharing your unique challenges. This helps us understand your needs and will allow us to create a custom plan to provide solutions that meet your specific needs.
We leverage our library of customizable templates and formulas for key applications documents, such as: management plans, policies and procedures, and budgets. This saves time while ensuring compliance.
The pre-approval process is the crucial final step in getting your contract approved. We’ll guide you through this process, ensuring you are well prepared and meet all requirements, including the site visit expectations.
We can be your CACFP partner in ensuring program success. Our comprehensive program services make participation easy and stress-free, while also guaranteeing compliance and minimizing costly mistakes and worrisome issues.
Getting your own CACFP contract is a major milestone for any daycare center. We simplify the entire application process, from initial eligibility checks to the final submission in the TX-UNPS portal.

Before starting the paperwork, we conduct a comprehensive review of your daycare center’s eligibility. This proactive step ensures you don't waste time on an application that doesn't meet the "Performance Standards" of Viability, Capability, and Accountability (VCA).

The CACFP application requires a significant amount of supporting documentation, including audits, bank statements, and organization charts. We provide you with a structured checklist and a secure portal to upload your documents. Our team reviews every file to ensure they meet the specific standards required for a successful submission.

We assist you in drafting a comprehensive Management Plan and a balanced CACFP budget to demonstrate administrative oversight and internal controls. This critical step shows the TDA that your center is capable of managing federal funds without the risk of fraud or mismanagement. We help you project expected reimbursements against food and labor costs to prove your program's long-term financial viability and ensure a balanced budget.

All new CACFP applicants must complete mandatory training. We provide supplemental orientation to ensure your staff understands the "Point of Service" meal count requirements and the importance of daily recordkeeping. This ensures your center is prepared to maintain compliance from day one of your new contract.

Once all documents and plans are finalized, we guide you through the submission process in the Texas Unified Nutrition Programs System (TX-UNPS). We review your digital application for any "Red Flags" or errors that could trigger a request for information (RFI) or a denial from the state agency.

TDA will often conduct a pre-approval site visit to verify the information in your application. We provide a "Pre-Visit Checklist" so you can ensure your kitchen, storage areas, and recordkeeping systems are ready for inspection.

Once your application is approved, we help you navigate the final steps of signing your permanent agreement. From there, we transition you into our software onboarding process so you can start claiming your reimbursements immediately.

Once your contract is active, the work shifts from setup to monthly maintenance. We provide an ongoing partnership to ensure your center remains in good standing and continues to receive maximum reimbursements without administrative stress.
